Infrastructure and Data Administrator Job in New York 10027, New York US

Columbia University’s Graduate School of Journalism is currently seeking an Infrastructure and Data Administrator. Reporting to the Director of Information Technology the incumbent is responsible for the implementation and support of information technology solutions serving the needs of the academic and administrative entities affiliated with the Graduate School of Journalism.

Some areas of focus would include assisting with the defined IT requirements for academic and administrative stakeholders, supporting the school's backend infrastructure, and owning the data and reporting infrastructure supporting and fostering data driven needs.
The incumbent would be responsible for successful resolution of all server, client computing and application software problems; installing hardware and software, upgrades, patches and fixes; develops, maintains, and disseminates knowledge of best solutions to recurring problems. Works with other J-School and Columbia University IT tech staff and vendors as needed

Bachelor’s degree and/or its equivalent is required, as well as a minimum of 2 years related experience.
