Infrastructure Consultant ( Algorithmic / High Frequency Trading ) recruitment
This is a complex role and requires the Infrastructure Consultant who can understand the current environment, the many technologies that need to be integrated and provide the infrastructure vision for this rapidly growing firm. The person in this role will be responsible along for designing, building and operating.
Given its early successes, double-digit growth, rapid adoption and accelerated demand in Hong Kong, the firm is seeking Infrastructure Consultant as a critical next hire. This role will need related industry experience, tremendous technical knowledge, excellent communication capabilities, and the vision to lead the architecture, design, development and operation of their infrastructure.
Experience on below areas:
- Ultra low-latency market data and trading networks
- Ultra low-latency trading appliances
- Financial data centers
- Monitoring WAN level (lines to trading and market data)
- Reporting on line usage real-time and historical
- Monitoring on LAN level
- VPN Setup
- Health checking on all PCs
- Drop Connection alert and preventive measure
- Connectivity to offices abroad
- Provide advice on cloud/datacenter solution
Requirements:
- Tremendous technical background in Algorithmic / High Frequency Trading infrastructure.
- Extensive experience in designing, developing and operating the infrastructure for low latency, high frequency trading platforms and all of the communication associated with those systems including IP multicast.
- Possess the ability to dive into any aspect of the infrastructure on multiple levels, quickly come up to speed on the issues and create a solution supporting the next generation platform for the organization.
- With Global finance and multi asset classes knowledge, especially equities, options and futures.
- Leadership in collaborative infrastructure design, architecture and management.
- Understand the constraints of a smaller firm– using creative methods to maximize resources and productivity.
- Excellent communication capabilities.
