Application Infrastructure is a sub-unit within the Infrastructure Operations (IO) which is responsible for ensuring the delivery of IT infrastructure and operational services such as user clients, databases, integration services and collaboration solutions in a flexible, cost-effective and high quality to enable the bank to work with their clients. Application Infrastructure consists of 80 Employees in Sweden, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania.

 

About the job

 

We are currently looking for two infrastructure engineers with broad expertise background in Business Intelligence. The role is responsible for technical management and development of Swedbank's BI infrastructure and report tools. You will work closely with business to constantly monitor developments within the company and the market, and thereby establish effective BI solutions.

 

Our BI platform is a business-critical system that many depend on, and the role of infrastructure engineer gives you the opportunity to influence Swedbank's operations and business process. To ensure that the BI platform is working effectively, and improving data quality are priority areas that affect many, including the management team and CEO. As an engineer, you will also participate in infrastructure projects, and level 3 problem solutions. On-call work may occur occasionally. The position is located at Stora Essingen in Stockholm.

 

About you

 

We are looking for a person with

 

·         A relevant university degree or equivalent work experience, preferably within Finance/IT

·         Knowledge of and experience within: MicroStrategy, mainly on UNIX and Linux, System integration and application platforms, Installation, configuration and integration

·         Knowledge and experience of the following is an advantage: ITIL framework, Database administration, development and SQL, Java and scripting languages ​​such as Python and Perl

·         Good communication skills in English, both oral and written.

·         Good analytical and problem solving skills

·         Quality and service minded

·         Purposeful and structured
