Infrastructure Finance Consultant recruitment

Our Client is a diverse Investment, management, development and engineering company, delivering solutions for private and public clients world-wide and is currently looking to hire an Infrastructure Finance Consultant with Infrastructure, Project Finance  MA experience.

Their Business Technology Consulting Division has been awarded PPP Advisor of the Year for 4 out of the last 5 years. A key strategy for the continued success of the division is the internationalization of the team to exploit the growing popularity of PPP globally both private and public sector. The French market is central to this strategy and therefore it would be ideal but not specific, to recruit keen, enthusiastic bi-lingual (speaking/understanding of both English and French) staff to service the growing workload and work on new government and Private Equity sectors.

Working within a multi sector discipline team, the successful candidate will provide technical and commercial advisory services (technical due diligence) and construction monitoring services to Infrastructure Finance projects largely in the French speaking market although opportunities to work in other markets will be possible as will the opportunity to work across other service stream delivered within the Division including business advisory and public sector procurement.

Candidate Specification

Essential academic, professional qualifications and Experience:

- Degree qualified or equivalent
- Engineer or Technical degree or equivalent
- Experience of:

* PPP
* Public sector advisory work
* Financial background

Desired academic, professional qualifications and Experience:

- Chartered Engineer or equivalent.

- French, English + 1 European language,
- Demonstrable understanding of capital projects and related key issues

Successful Candidates will demonstrate:

Job Description

As part of a dynamic, multi-disciplinary and award-winning team, the Consultant fulfilling this role will be exposed to a diverse portfolio of clients, sectors and work-streams culminating a well-rounded experience. The successful candidate will be expected to fulfill a variety of specific remits on a number of projects, working either autonomously or within a project team as needed. The majority of the projects will be based in Western Europe.

The principal accountabilities will include:
- Working collaboratively as part of a dynamic high-performing team and contribute to the ongoing success and positive reputation of the division as market leader;
- Managing and/or assisting in the delivery of PPP due diligence projects in the France and overseas;
- Contributing to the assessment of projects from a Facility Management or commercial perspective at both/either a pre or financial close perspective;
- Performing Operations monitoring mission on behalf of lenders on French projects; and
- Ensuring the company’s financial and quality standards are adhered to and embedded into everything we do.

As part of the European expansion, the job will also require:
- Making contact with our target clients and start building working relationships;
- Identifying prospects, bid and win work;
- Delivering projects to a high quality, ensuring client satisfaction; and
- Work flexibility both by location and within project timescales.

Overall line management will be via the Country Representative and the Operation Manager although work related matters will primarily be managed at a project level by the respective Project Managers and Directors.
