Infrastructure Fund Manager recruitment

This global asset manager has over A$100 billion in managed funds and provides a range of product across the retail, institutional and pension markets. They have offices in Asia, Middle East, Australia, Bahrain, Europe, UK and USA. The asset manager is a leading global real estate manager and one of the longest standing infrastructure managers. An opportunity is now available for an experienced, professional infrastructure technician to utilize their specialist and entrepreneurial skills to shape and develop a meaningful position in the infrastructure market and gain the rewards accordingly.

Key Responsibilities 

•Manage, drive the development, and profitably grow the unlisted institutional infrastructure fund. 

•Construct and maintain a portfolio of high quality infrastructure assets that generate investment return and risk characteristics. 

•Build and maintain highly effective and successful relationships with key internal/external stakeholders, including origination/execution and asset management teams. 

•Evaluation, analysis and execution of investment and divestment opportunities in the context of return and risk objectives and investment mandate.

 •Relationship management with clients and their advisors, often at senior level. •Work closely with the institutional sales team, external placement agents and investment specialists to develop new fundraising opportunities. 

Skills and Experience: 

•Extensive experience/track record in investment evaluation, risk analysis and investment decision-making. 

•Undergraduate post-graduate (ideally) tertiary qualifications in finance, commerce or related discipline. 

•Highly developed numeracy, analytical and quantitative skills, evidenced by earnings and cashflow-based investment evaluation experience. 

•Strong interpersonal skills – ability to relate with and persuade experienced, intelligent and senior level peers, colleagues and clients. 

•Well developed written and verbal communication skills.

•Strong client focus – desire to meet and exceed client expectations.
