Infrastructure Manager, Mobile Banking recruitment
Global leader in Mobile Software solutions is recruiting an Infrastructure Manager to manage a team of technical resources in a 24x7 high availability environment.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Technical Services IT Service and Support
• Managing provision and capacity of IT systems, including server, storage and physical datacentre requirements for both server and client application development and test activities
Production Platform Support
• Managing provision and capacity of IT systems, including server, storage and physical datacentre requirements for Group production platforms either directly or through 3rd party service providers
• Build, installation and monitoring setup/specification for production platforms
Team Management
• Managing a team of Unix and Oracle engineers, including hiring, mentoring, development plans, salary and bonus reviews
Experience
Essential
• Experience in end user or customer support.
• Experience in the line management or team leading of a team of technical staff with a focus on meeting business requirements.
• Experience managing a team of technical resources in a 24x7 high availability environment
• Experience in delivering projects within defined cost and time constraints; both Greenfield and upgrades/extensions.
• Experience of either Unix systems administration or database administration in a high availability, 24x7 production environment
Desirable
• Experience supporting Java application platforms through the development lifecycle
