Opportunity

Managing investments for its clients, this team holds the responsibility for achieving results through a combination of rigorous analysis and sophisticated portfolio management. Managing direct investments and funds, each member collaborates in the aligned strategy of capital preservation and first-class returns.

Role

Reporting to the Head of Infrastructure the incumbent will initially be focused on the origination of new direct infrastructure investments in Australia and New Zealand.  This will involve undertaking in depth research of infrastructure opportunities and developing relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to facilitate transactions. Recommendations, due diligence and qualitative and quantitative skills will be integral to the investment decision process made by the organisation. Additionally, the role will require monitoring and management of investments post acquisition and assistance to the wider infrastructure team.

Experience

To be successful in this role you will hold relevant post-graduate qualifications, ideally in finance, business, law or economics.  With around 10-15 years’ experience, you can demonstrate a track record of infrastructure investment wither gained in a fund manager, investment bank or professional services firm. You will have strong skills in financial analysis and modelling, with advanced computer literacy and excel skills to support this. The role requires a confident communicator who can clearly articulate analysis and judgments to those at investment committee level through sophisticated reporting and discussions. You will be a collaborative individual, with the ability to work successfully as part of a wider team.
