Infrastructure Program Manager
Job Description: The successful candidate will be a highly motivated self starter who is a technically savvy program manager and is able to provide excellent customer service, with an eye for identifying potential problem areas before they arise. The candidate must feel comfortable with, and remain calm in the face of uncertainty, rapid change, and aggressive deadlines common to rapidly growing companies with evolving business models. This program-related technical position will be responsible for the implementation of medium - large infrastructure deployments within the production network including but not limited to data center builds, migrations, expansions, technology upgrades, tech refresh and capacity augments. Translate technical objective into actionable program plans and execute. Work closely with internal customers and cross functional teams. Requires 10+ years of experience in IP networking, infrastructure project planning and implementation, Virtualization technologies, customer interface and process development. Technical writing experience helpful. This individual will track all aspects of a given program across CSG (collaboration software group); from the requirements gathering phase, POCs through to implementation; will communicate progress, issues, and status to all relevant parties. Skills and Qualifications: - BA/BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent. MBA desired - PMI certified - Current CCNA certification, ITIL certification desired - Effective oral and written communication skills, with outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills - The ability to understand complex technical operations environments, communicate issues and solution approaches to all levels of the organization are imperative to success in this position - Ability to handle multiple assignments of competing priorities and work them through to an effective resolution - Experience in a production operations environment, such as NOCs. - Solid grasp of networking fundamentals, storage/SA/data protection experience, thorough understanding of how a data center is built and how they are connected (inter/intra) Need Oracle 10g-11g deployment experience. Migration/deployment/standard PM skills.
