Infrastructure Project Manager (I-Bank) recruitment
Our client, a US based tier 1 IT vendor, is hiring multiple Project Managers in Singapore, Hong Kong and Tokyo to work onsite with a I-Bank. Ideal candidate should have strong experience in managing Infrastructure projects with banks/ financial clients in Asia.
Responsibilities:
- As project manager you will be working on multiple infrastructure orientated workstreams including relocations and rollouts.
- The role is a "hands on" technical role with strong leadership and management skills required for daily operations.
- Deliverables will include project planning, reporting, stakeholder management, budgetary planning and reporting, process / methodology improvement
- Build/Manage long-term strategic relationships with the Client
- Manage the Client to achieve quality service delivery to ensure that local/regional business needs are met; Provide regular updates to Client Management
- Measure the performance and provide quality assurance to ensure desired quality of service (including quality, cost, productivity, relationship) are met
- Provide guidance to staff
Required Skills:
- Senior IT professional with 10+ year experience
- 5 years+ of Project management experience working in IBanks or working onsite through a Vendor
- Demonstrable project management skills (planning, budgetary control etc.), Negotiations skills, good verbal /written communication skills
- In-depth knowledge of IT infrastructure services such as EMC, Co-locations, Lan/Wan, Hosting and Low Latency
- Excellent data centre facilities management experience, especially ELV, HVAC FS and Structured Cabling ; Technical enterprise-level network background (LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, Cisco/Juniper/Checkpoint, firewall, etc.)
- Must have recent experience working within an investment bank on infrastructure related projects
- PMP Certification is preferred
- Ability to take self-initiatives and provide leadership to high-performing teams
- Strong problem solving capabilities
