Infrastructure & Renewables Portfolio Management

To act principally as a Portfolio Manager of senior debt transactions within the UK Infrastructure and Renewables portfolio. The core objective and purpose of the role is one of managing and monitoring the assets to a high standard to ensure no reporting arrears and to avoid impairments where possible.

Portfolio Manager of c. 25-30 predominantly UK-based assets covering PPP, renewables and essential infrastructure sectors;

o Ensure effective and timely management and monitoring of these assets;

o Provide a high standard of written, presentational and verbal analysis for internal reporting, at a level suitable for external usage (e.g. for managed accounts);

o Completion and submission of credit reviews Credit Risk Management and/or the Transaction (Credit) Committee on a timely basis and to a high standard;

o Process all waiver requests in a timely and efficient manner with appropriate internal reporting for approval;

o Complete and maintain all relevant internal reporting system requirements such as RMS, KYC, PF models, LGD, etc;

o Review and process all information receipts including technical reports, project finance models, forecast assumptions and accounts;

 o Attend progress meetings with clients and advisers;

o Establish and maintain close relationships with Credit Risk Management and all other internal stakeholders;

o Establish and maintain close relationships with external clients, advisers and co-lenders;

o Become the primary point of contact for the UK IR portfolio;

o Provide support to the Agency desk on IR transactions where they are the Agency Bank;

o Compile portfolio data and statistics for internal reporting and for use in marketing the portfolio and transactions externally;

o Cooperate closely with other colleagues across the wider IR team, including attendance at team meetings;

o Play a key role in projects to review PM systems and reporting tools to help improve efficiency and ways of working.

Competencies

o Relevant transaction based experience within UK Infrastructure and Renewables

o Proven portfolio management capability with ability to manage complex transactions with a reasonable level of supervision/guidance from Head of Portfolio and other Team Members.

o Capable and willing to be involved in marketing/pitching opportunities with clients

o Capable of working well within a team and managing.

o Knowledge of financial and project documentation structures

o Strong credit analysis skills
