Responsible for building the Center of Excellence (COE) for Data Loss Prevention (DLP) program at Capital HQ. Responsibilities include driving solution identification, feasibility analysis, and implementation recommendations, as well as the day-to-day management of the operations teams. Essential Responsibilities Also responsible for goal delivery, including project initiation and completion of technical area by directing activities of others as well as maintaining individual project responsibilities. Current toolsets include Digital Guardian and Ironport. The succesful candidate will work closely with the Information Security team on building a DLP program for Capital. - Build the strategy for the DLP COE(s) across all Capital business - Deliver fully-managed service for Data Loss Prevention tools - Manage current Digital Guardian support team of near-short contractors on deployments, upgrades and issue resolution - Supervise resources with technical advice, direction, and problem resolution - Manage the overall vendor relationship - Define and manage the yearly budgets for the COEs - Assist the Information Security team in policy and rules development and implement those rules in the appropriate tools - Consolidate DG consoles across Capital wherever possible, taking into consideration local requirements - Respond quickly to requests from auditors, businesses, and information security - Establishes best-in-class service(s) to protect Capitals intellectual property - Manage the day-to-day operations of the DLP support teams - Deliver the appropriate data to feed Capitals Incident Response process and work with Info Security team on incidents and investigations when needed - Effectively communicate project and program progress/updates - Escalate critical issues quickly and work with vendors and others to mitigate - Recommends rules and policies related to the data leakage prevention program - Provide constant communication to keep management and compliance teams informed of any relevant issues. Qualifications/Requirements: Basic Qualifications: - Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience - Minimum of 3 years experience in the information security or data protection area - Experience managing operational teams - Excellent project management skills with proven ability to drive projects through to completion - Demonstrated experience leading global programs across multiple technologies - Experience working with vendors, including SLA specification and management Eligibility Requirements - You must apply via COS (internals) or www.gecareers.com (externals) to be considered for this position - Must have unrestricted authorization to work in the United States. - Must be willing to comply with pre-employment screening, including but not limited to, drug testing, reference verification and background check. - Must be willing to travel up to 10% of time.
