The purpose of the job is to support the Information Systems for the business ensuring that the infrastructure is sound and efficient in order to allow all systems and personnel to operate efficiently.
You will use your technical knowledge to support, maintain and improve the ecommerce and corporate IT systems. And provide consultancy and support to other areas of the business.
Key Accountabilities Responsibilities
- To support the IT infrastructure ensuring that all systems are performing as per the agreed SLA, this includes both internal and e-Commerce platforms.
- To deliver an effective support service including out of hours coverage,
- To ensure that the estate remains compliant with all security, data protection and card compliance standards and obligations.
- Focus for networking technologies within the business
- To assist in compiling the technical roadmap of IT infrastructure including capacity planning.
- To take ownership and responsibility for solving complex issues and managing the technical relationship with clients and third parties.
- To provide assistance to second and third line support functions.
- To provide strategic solutions in response to a business requirement.
- Advise on innovation and new products.
- To work with developers and other technical teams to improve the technical environment.
- To contribute to IT disaster recovery process that is tested at least annually.
This role has a highly focused technical remit and requires extensive knowledge and experience of IT systems and infrastructure. This Individual will require significant experience of operating highly available systems (Microsoft) in an outsourced landscape. This person will be comfortable being the major contributor the companies’ strategy on Microsoft technologies.

- 5 years + experience in a similar role
Technical
- Have achieved or be nearly qualified CCNP / CCIE,
- Excellent knowledge of local and Wide area networks and networking
- Good knowledge of IT security and best practice
- Experience of capacity planning and reporing
- Knowledge of Cisco and Fortigate products.
