My client is a leading global private equity asset management firm. They seek an exceptional infrastructure specialist to complement their existing London based team. The majority of the technology staff are based in the US so the successful applicant will be able to demonstrate a track record of working a varied environment.
Essential Skills:
-Microsoft / Windows expert
-MS office application
-PC hardware
-Mobile devices (Laptops, Ipads,Blackberries/Iphones etc)
-Network connectivity (Wi-Fi)
-Meeting room technology (I.E. videoconferencing, monitors/projectors, conference phones etc)
-VPN / remote access
Desired Skills:
-VM ware / virtualisation
-Voice and data communication circuits
-Understanding and appreciation of network and server technologies, switches and routers
Soft Skills:
You will be joining a lean close knit team and the work will be very varied and fast paced. As a result excellent communication skills and the ability to demonstrate multi tasking and an aptitude and desire for learning new technologies is essential. The successful candidate will be an outstanding communicator with a clear customer service focus.
