A leading provider of technology to the investment banking sector is urgently looking to recruit an infrastructure support engineer with unified communications experience to provide 2nd and 3rd line support to clients and internal teams. My client has a sophisticated and widely used platform and needs to expand the team to cover the increased workload from an expanding client base.
Working alongside the current team of 6, you will work on day to day client support issues (BAU) and spend around 60% of your time working on projects mainly surrounding Cisco VOIP; Call Manager and Contact Centre, both Enterprise versions.
My client is moving from Call Manager v6 to v9 this year and you will be heavily involved in this transition. On a day to day basis you will be making small changes, enhancements and tweaks to Contact Centre, again this is the enterprise version.
As an Infrastructure support analyst - Unified Communications, Cisco, VOIP, Call Manager, Contact Centre, Enterprise, Windows Server - your day to day duties will include:
* Supporting Cisco VOIP; Call Manager and Contact Centre - both are enterprise versions
* Providing client user and internal client support for Wintel infrastructure including Windows Server, Exchange server and 3rd party applications including anti-virus, VMware and
* Active directory administration
* Building, maintaining and supporting servers
To be considered for the role of Infrastructure support analyst - Unified Communications, Cisco, VOIP, Call Manager, Contact Centre, Enterprise, Windows Server - you must have the following essential skills and experience:
* 4+ years of experience support Cisco Voice - Call Manager and Contact Centre (enterprise versions)
* 4+ years of Wintel infrastructure support experience including Windows Server and exchange server
* VMware experience
* TCP/IP networking experience
You will be joining an existing team of 6 infrastructure support analyst and will eventually have ownership of the Cisco voice support and project work. The role will be around 60% project work and there are opportunities to broaden your skill set and work with new technologies.
