Role Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Steria as a Support Analyst in Portsmouth. The successful candidate will work as part of the existing Desktop Team to carry out the duties of an IT Technician in support of Service Delivery at DSTL.
Role Responsibilities
- First-line and Second-line software and hardware support (PC’s, laptops, peripherals, printers)
- Maintain high level of communication with the users throughout the business by open communication
- Build, configure and troubleshoot desktop and laptop systems to corporate specifications
- Respond to incident requests, internal works orders and other queries assigned via the Service Management tool
- Installing and supporting remote access connections
- Resolve daily issues that impact the sites, teams and users
Essential Skill Set:
- 1st line support experience
- A high level of technical awareness
- Experience of providing remote experience
- Experience with Windows 2000, XP and Microsoft applications, Office 2007, Sharepoint 2007, Outlook
- Experience of 2nd line support would be desirable
- SC Clearance would also be desirable
