Infrastructure Support Analyst Job in Southampton, Southern UK
Infrastructure Support Analyst required to join a leading organisation working from their head office based in Southampton.
The role of Infrastructure Support Analyst will be working alongside the IT Manager and will be taking the lead on a number of Infrastructure projects along with playing an active part in shaping their IT Strategy. You will be responsible for the IT infrastructure and provide 3rd line support along with helping with 2nd line support where required. This role would involve some occasional weekend work as well.
The correct candidate for the Infrastructure Support Analyst role will have at least 5 years experience within the industry and have experience of the design and implementation of systems based across a number of sites. You will have an in-depth knowledge of Server 2008, Active Directory, Exchange and if possible SharePoint 2010. Further experience within networking, virtualisation, backup and database systems would also be highly beneficial. As you will be working within a team environment you will have excellent communication skills.
