Infrastructure Support Analyst – Tier 1 Bank recruitment

 Tier 1 US Investment Bank require an experienced Infrastructure support analyst  - This is a varied and interesting position, your responsibilities will include:

Responsible for the day-to-day maintenance of the systems in operation, including tasks related to identifying and troubleshooting application issues and issues resolution or escalation. Responsibilities also include root cause analysis, management communication and client relationship management with other teams.

Key skills include:
L2 technical support for a Windows based enterprise applications (MS SQL, SharePoint, IIS and VMWare)
Provide L2 technical support for Windows based Servers
Provide L2 technical support for Web based technologies, including Internet and Intranet applications
Review system capacity and performance data to keep management informed about current usage and future growth – experience with clustering is essential.
Develop specifications and make recommendations for resources required to maintain and/or expand current standards and service levels

Requirements: 
Minimum Microsoft MCSE (or appropriate) certification is required,Experience with Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft Windows Server and Windows Group Policy, Microsoft Windows Server 2003 administration skills 
Experience with Microsoft SQL 2005/2008, VMWare ESX Server version 4.x, MS Exchange, Microsoft IIS,, Nagios monitoring tools
Proven expertise in application/production support, application/systems build and configuration, load balancing and disaster recovery and Excellent communication and customer service skills are required for this 12 month contract
