Infrastructure Transformation Architect recruitment

My client is looking for an Infrastructure Transformation Architect who will be responsible for supporting the development and driving the strategy and technical elements of the Transformation agenda. The role will cover all the technology domains including Mainframe Midrange, End User Services, Distributed Computing, Storage, Database and core shared services such as Networks, Data Centers, and Enterprise Systems Management. You will be instrumental of the creation of infrastructure transformational strategy and architecture content for use in standalone discussions or RFS/RFPs that leverages existing artifacts as well as new ones that ensure open architecture for products services, high levels of IT “reuse” resilience while maintaining agility, seamless interactions with external financial services ecosystem, component fungibility – enable to easily integrate 3rd party services products, robust service level management, buy commoditised build differentiated services and an environmentally responsible  platform. This position requires a high level of previous experience coupled with a strong desire and understanding of the issues surrounding a global infrastructure centralisation. Candidate’s should have a track record in this senior role and have a full understanding of the future needs of companies surrounding the cloud data environment both internal and external. This role has direct and dotted line into senior stakeholders, CTO and CIO levels.
