ING IM Young Talent Programme 2012 recruitment
What we have to offer
The Young Talent Programme has been designed for graduates truly passionate about asset management.
You will be joining at a special time - while we are building a strong business and preparing for an IPO, the constantly changing environment brings significant challenges, but also responsibilities and opportunities early on in your career. This means that you will have more influence and tangible impact from day one.
Through the rotations within the various business lines, the programme brings the possibility to learn about the entire value chain, before exploring the business more in depth when taking up a specialist role. Furthermore, you will have the chance to experience the buy side of the business within an asset manager with a global footprint. The acquired diversified background together with the large network that you will build during the 2 years will enable you to successfully take up a specialist role.
You will receive significant guidance, but also a lot of independence to make an impact and prove yourself. It’s up to you to make the best out of it!
About the programme
Roles rotations
During the two-year programme you will have four rotations within the Investments, Sales or Solutions business lines, as well as within the support functions (such as Risk, Finance or Legal); the projects are aimed at giving you exposure to the different parts of the organisation. What makes the programme unique is that the rotations will be tailored to your profile and ambitions, in the context of the organisational requirements. Your role on each assignment will vary providing you with the breadth and depth of experience, as well as a great variety of challenges.
Onboarding programme
Beginnings can be challenging, but beginnings also bring enthusiasm and excitement for the times to come. We recognise the impact of a fresh start and are committed to making it a pleasant experience; which is why we have developed a comprehensive onboarding programme. As of day one, you will have a Buddy – a former trainee who will offer you guidance, support and encouragement during your onboarding period.
Furthermore, within your first three months of joining, you will be invited to several internal events dedicated to new employees.
Training development
While working on your projects, you will also follow an intensive development path. We will support you in attaining the CFA certification. Additional trainings for developing skills and competencies necessary in your work will also be available. In order to enhance your organisational knowledge and accelerate your personal development, a Mentor, chosen from one of our senior specialists, will be assigned to you. Furthermore, throughout the programme you will have access to a career coach – an experienced HR professional who will guide and support your career development.
