Inhouse Legal Counsel recruitment
Reporting to the General Counsel APAC and working from the company’s APAC headquarter, you will be part of a regional team providing legal advice and support to the business units and internal customers in the South-Asia-Pacific region.
Main responsibilities
- Provide legal advice and transaction support to the business units and internal customers.
- Review, draft, negotiate and advise on a wide variety of commercial agreements for the provision and procurement of products/services, distribution arrangements, and the like
- Ensuring effective legal risk management by timely addressing legal risks and opportunities and also applying a entrepreneurial perspective
- Manage litigation, disputes and managing outside law firms
- Provide legal training to internal business team
Profile
We’re seeking a dynamic and talented individual with the following qualifications:
- LLB (Hon) degree from a reputable university called to the Singapore Bar or in a major jurisdiction
- Min 7 years PQE in leading international law firms and/or as in-house legal counsel in MNC
- Mature and hands-on team player who is able to manage different stakeholders and communicate well at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to work independently in a fast pace environment to meet deadlines
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a worldwide legal team
- Positive, pro-active, energetic
- Fluent in English, additional language advantageous
