The Company
This high profile and well renowned Self Insurer located in Sydney's south are currently seeking an experienced and passionate Injury Management Advisor with an Allied health background to provide strategic direction and technical assistance to a small team of Case Managers.
The Opportunity
With a major emphasis on successful return to work outcomes, other main responsibilities of the role include:
- Generating in-depth injury management plans for various type of injuries
- Reviewing and revising Injury management plans throughout the life of the claim
- Providing effective coaching, training and advice to Case Managers regarding treatment and return to work strategies including the use of case conferences
- Actively taking part in claims reviews where and when required
- Providing advice on more complex injuries and identifying high risk claims
About You
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
- An Allied Health qualification
- A minimum of 12 months experience in the role of an Injury Management Advisor or Rehabilitation Consultant
- Be self motivated and proactive
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
