Tasks
Would you like to join a dynamic, young innovative company with great potential and focus on developing countries? Does the idea of bringing a totally new revolutionary sanitation solution to the market that will help solve one of the biggest problems in the world thrill you? Then this might be the opportunity you are looking for. Peepoople is in an expansive phase and will during the end of 2012 start our large-scale production of Peepoos. Until then supplier contract network for raw material and for the associated products will have to be in place and the supply secured. Which will be the first challenge in this position.
· Be responsible for acquisition of material for the Peepoo production.
· Driving projects related to supply of material, production and logistics.
· Continuously work on developing supplier relations and cost savings in material supply.
· Manage quality issues towards our suppliers.
Facts
· Reports to our Head of Production and Procurement.
· Based at our head office on Södermalm, Stockholm, Sweden.
· The position requires international travel to suppliers and our production site.
· The company currently has 7 employees at the head office in Stockholm. Peepoople also has an office in Kenya with 16 employees, and an extensive network of strategic collaborators.
Experience
· Experience of driving technical projects within the supply chain.
· Experience of driving technical projects within the supply chain.
· Experience from work within manufacturing companies is an advantage.
Profile
We believe that you have some years of experience in sourcing and proven that you are a good negotiator. Entrepreneurial thinking and a strong interest in doing business is a plus. We think that you have good leadership skills and like to drive development and growth forward. · Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in science, or other relevant higher education.
· Fluent in English and Swedish, both spoken and written.
· High knowledge in purchasing strategies and contracts.
· Business oriented with a solid track record from managing supplier relations.
