Development activities, mainly working in close association with the meat-use-sales-specialst B2B for customer development teams on product development projects for specific products that fits with customer needs. Evaluate and identify possible applications of products in the portfolio to meet customer needs. In collaboration with the marketing and commercial teams evaluate emerging food and recipe trends that will be adopted by food processing industries, and develop new products or concepts in line with these trends. Train, advice and instruct team members (sales) or customers in presenting or introducing new products or concepts. Give advice on- and evaluate- technical reports and specifications. Take the lead in the appointed new development projects with work and focus strongly solution oriented.
Profile
- Degree in Food technology or other related field or equivalent combination of education and/or experience
- Combined 3 - 5 years experience in meat processing industry, with focus on poultry meat (RD focussed).
- MUST: you worked in Germany before!

Competences
- Understanding of all food related technical aspects and meat processing in use, - of meal producers, assemblers, meat processing industries, etc. [understanding: processes, recipe costing, product development processes, nutritional aspects and preparation and food packaging]
- Excellent knowledge of the meat processing industry and assemblers in the market.
- Creative skills in product development and innovation
- Excellent Communication skills both oral and written, time management negotiating abilities, problem solving, interpersonal relationship
- Food Safety Certified
- Fluency in English and German
- Excellent presentation skills
