Inside Account Manager Job in Worcester 01606, Massachusetts US

Eaton Corporation located in Worcester, MA has an opening for Inside Account Manager. This position will be responsible for sales and support functions for a set of defined National Named Accounts.

The selected candidate will perform the following duties:

• Responsible for client communications, conflict resolution, and compliance on client deliverables and revenue, supporting the outside sales representative.
• Provides regular two-way communication between the client and the sales rep, to provide strong team representation and set proper client expectations.
• Prepare quotes, enter orders, and track account activity from project forecasting until project completion/installation.
• Process any return/replacements, discount requests, traffic quotes, tracking spreadsheets, etc.
• Technically review quotes/orders from Accounts with Product Marketing.
• Collect, record, and communicate client specifications/goals; often hosting intradepartmental meetings including executive team, to ensure these expectations are met.
• Provide reports to the sales rep and IAM manager, providing regular input on all account activity, including ongoing order status and any complications.
• Record and enter all nonconformance reports from Accounts and provide feedback to client from various departments, informing the Sales Rep or IAM Manager of any problems that may arise.
• Ensure that all processes and procedures are completed, quality standards are met, and that projects are profitable.
• Schedule and manage meetings with Accounts and HQ, with occasional travel to client sites.
• Assist Inside SalesTeam when needed to field incoming customer inquiries, telephone, web-based, and print advertising responses with the objective of converting that contact into an order, quote, field rep appointment, or a “warm lead”.
• Maintain accurate records of activities including support data for Return on Investment calculations

• 2 years of Telemarketing/telesales experience is required.
• Associates Degree from an accredited school or four years of customer facing account management experience required.
• Relocation assistance is not available for this position. Only candidates within a 60 miles radius of Worcester, MA will be considered.
