As software developers in the transportation industry, Intelek developed a much needed EDI software solution allowing shippers and carriers to communicate more effectively and economically. Intelek is a leading provider of web-based and classroom training, remote and on-site technology software installations and configuration, and its product support services for our premier Business Partners.

 

Job Description

Inside Sales Representative responsible for achieving sales and revenue goals for an assigned territory by developing, building, and strengthening long-term relationships with customers, software/hardware vendors, and partners.

 

Roles Responsibilities:

·         Works closely with management and peers

·         Develops strong knowledge of leading software and hardware through on-going training

·         Collaboratively works with General Sales Manager to develop an overall territory account plan to maximize opportunities and generate sales activity with customers and partners

·         Achieves/exceeds monthly sales targets and gross profit goal by prospecting customers

·         Grows and maintains existing customer and vendor relationships

·         Manages daily schedule, meetings, agenda

·         Manages quote creation, order processing and day-to-day customer requests

·         Performs other duties as assigned by management

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

·         1-3 years sales experience is preferred but not required

·         Highly motivated and results oriented

·         Entrepreneurial spirit

·         Strong presentation, communication, organization, multitasking, and time management skills

·         Solid problem solving and consultative skills required

·         Ability to work in a fast-paced team sales environment with minimum supervision

·         Experience with MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and CRM

·         Telesales experience preferred
