The New York Office is currently seeking positive, DRIVEN and forward thinking candidates that are willing to adopt the aggressive but highly proven sales process and take advantage of the need for firms/companies to acquire new clients in this economy. Management is going to personally oversee the training and development of these individuals to learn the fast paced corporate culture, sales process and product knowledge. The successful candidates, based on performance, will be fast tracked into management within 6-9 months to oversee select summit products.
The average on-track earnings for this Corporate Sales Account Executive are between $60k and $90k(base + 10 - 15 %commissions) over the first 12 months of employment.
In this position you will be responsible for contacting CEO’s and Managing Partners from prospective firms to explain the business model and offer them targeted access to a group of motivated buyers who form the firms target audience for their products and/or services. This access is facilitated through three days of interactive pre scheduled meetings at five star resorts. This is a big-ticket sale with packages ranging from $30,000 up to $80,000 depending upon level of participation.
A major focus of our job is to illustrate the value of our business model to the prospect versus a firm trying to set up meetings themselves (cost/benefit analysis). You will also be responsible for building a client base, as well as cultivating and maintaining long-term relationships with these Firms.
In order to prepare you for this challenging and exciting career, you will take part in our comprehensive 5 day training program along with extensive ongoing daily training/motivational sessions, which focuses on product knowledge, creating urgency and closing techniques to increase your sales effectiveness and close ratios.
Job Requirements
Core Competencies / Skills:
· Excellent verbal communications skills.
· Ability to identify qualified, prospective clients and develop loyal customer relationships via telephone within an assigned market.
· Develop/build your own client base – utilizing proven sales techniques including: Internet research, prospecting, probing, lead generation, cold calling and closing.
· Consistently being able to persuade the customer into a "positive" buying commitment decision – "closing" skills.
· Able to clearly present the customer with the key benefits of attending the event, while also focusing on the customer's individual needs.
· You are not intimidated by the challenge of contacting top, executive-level decision makers.
· You should be self-motivated and commission driven.
· Demonstrate drive, persistence and the ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
· Ability to function independently in a team environment.
· Having previous successful experience in an inside sales environment (is a definite asset).
· However, candidates who indicate a strong desire to develop their sales skills in order to succeed in a corporate sales environment will also be considered.
