Position Description:
At SunGard we are seeking to fill the position of Inside Sales representative within the AvantGard team. This role will focus on engaging and nurturing early stage sales opportunities within the French market. The ideal candidate will be passionate and enthusiastic about sales, as well as having written and verbal fluency in both French and English.
This is a consultative sales process and as such, the candidate will engage in conversations with prospects and customers around their current practices and future direction which will then lead to face-to-face appointments in order to further the discovery of pain points and a value match.
This individual will work closely with the field marketing team to execute on outbound calling campaigns as part of direct marketing follow-up. The outbound activity will be geared toward identifying potential appointments for an outside sales organisation.
Additional Duties:
* Select and engage companies that have the greatest likelihood of revenue generating potential
* Conduct market research, creating call targets and prospect by telephone and email
* Engage, nurture, and qualify marketing responses and outbound telesales initiatives
* Strategise with the outside sales team to identify revenue opportunities
* Conduct hand-off sessions of qualified leads to the Field Sales Account Executives
* Maintain a fresh perspective on the domain using trade publications and news feeds
* Maintain a current understanding of solution suite and marketplace trends / terminology
Position Requirements:
* A background in inside sales or telesales
* Experience in the financial industry related to corporate treasury, accounts payable, accounts receivable or accounting management.
The role requires the ability to operate with minimal supervision as well as the ability to self-motivate in order to achieve daily call volumes, along with monthly and quarterly performance metrics. The individual must have the capacity to learn about various software solutions, effectively communicate their value proposition and conduct in-depth interviews to uncover pain points and potential opportunities. Experience interacting with individuals at all levels of an organisation is required as well as the aptitude to learn new markets and solution suites.

This opportunity includes a base plus commission structure with a sales prospecting target.
