Inside Sales Position

Job Description:

The objective is to convert prepared sales bids into actual contracts for the company. Bids are provided to you by the company daily; no “cold calling” is required. Customers include general contractors, construction managers, distributors, and school districts.

 

Key job tasks include:

·         Preparing accurate bids and submitting them on-time, every time

·         Developing rapport with potential customers and following-up after bid submission to determine best path to winning the contract

·         Gather competitive intelligence to ensure the company is offering competitive pricing while also maximizing profit margins

·         Offering outstanding customer service throughout sales process

 

Ideal candidates will meet the following requirements:

·         Demonstrated experience in sales, customer service, or sales administration.

·         Ability to manage multiple projects at various stages without missing a beat.

·         Strong communication skills – verbal and written

·         Be able to work in a fast-paced environment

·         Proficiency with MS Outlook and Excel.

·         Excellent attention to detail

·         Bachelor’s Degree required

·         Travel up to 20%

 

Salary

·         Base salary $30,000 to $40,000 plus commissions of up to an additional $25,000 or more; top-end compensation is not capped.
