POSITION PURPOSE:

GEDA USA is looking for a motivated and goal oriented sales professional who has a mechanical aptitude for an exciting employment opportunity with as a Sales Coordinator of German engineered and manufactured rack pinion industrial elevators, material lifts, and transport platforms designed for vertical transportation of personnel and material. This position will report to the Houston office, and will assist in the development new distribution networks.

The new Sales Coordinator should have a good technical knowledge of the product line and its applications, and knowledge of related codes, as well as reading technical specifications, understanding job plans,  together with a working knowledge of business matters as relates to preparing sales budgets, forecasts, bid proposals, estimates, project research, project management, and general Sales Coordinator responsibilities

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSABILITIES:

1.      Maintaining a healthy relationship with existing customers while opening up fresh customers.

 

2.      Providing sales and administrative support involving efficient handling of top and confidential agreements.

 

3.      Communicating with regional sales team for status or order and position of sales.

 

4.      Sales travel as required, and attend and participate in trade exhibitions and trade organizations on as needed basis. 

 

5.      Providing inputs and ideas into marketing into marketing enterprises and subsequently promote them and monitor responses.

 

6.      Preparing monthly, weekly, or daily sales analysis.

 

7.      Preparing proposals, agreements, sales reports, and presentations

 

a.       Prepare proposals and pricing for each Bid according to established procedures, including obtaining subcontractor quotes as required.

 

8.      Updating the status of sales orders/quotes in our database or systems

a.       Maintain and update all outstanding customer proposals, and keep company reports logs accurate and up-to-date.

 

9.      Collecting, analyzing, evaluating, and accounting the information in order to increase productivity of sales.

 

10.  Coordinating and responding to all requests of internal meetings

 

11.  Assisting in the implementation of sales strategy as prepared by the Sales event manager

 

12.  Assist in execution of ongoing contracts within the region as required. 

 

13.  Keep Management informed of events which will or could affect the local or corporate business and recommend actions to be considered.

 

14.  Demonstrate ability to perform duties and responsibilities.

 

15.  Demonstrate ability to work effectively with all customers, and all levels of GEDA employees.

 

16.  Effective use of all GEDA processes and systems in achieving individual goals.

 

17.  Ensure GEDA's reputation with customers is enhanced by their effective communication.

 

18.  Execution of corporate objectives/initiatives (i.e. safety, quality, market pricing, etc.).

 

19.  Demonstrate behavioral attributes of GEDA Ambassador.

 

20.  Compliance with HR related processes

 

21.  Perform other duties as assigned.

 

 

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

 

1.      BA Business Administration, or Associates’ Degree in Business or Marketing

 

2.      Three to five+ years’ experience in inside sales of industrial equipment (or other technical / commercial experience within the company), preferably in heavy industry or construction area. 

 

3.      Skill with business development in large construction projects with related RFQ processes, proposal development, and typical commercial terms conditions. 

 

4.      Outgoing, and sales-oriented in nature. Also, very detailed oriented and a self-starter. 

 

5.      Ability to work under pressure, while maintaining accuracy of work and meeting tight deadlines; adjusting hours when required.

 

6.      Thoroughly skilled on Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel PowerPoint), including ability to handle word processing in an efficient manner.
