Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities:
1. Negotiate price and pre-book generic drugs, promote new items, and research competitive marketplace pricing.
2. Cold call potential accounts and solicit referrals from existing accounts.
3. Research billing errors and submit shortage memos.
4. Key results areas: sales, customer service, training, special orders, phone surveys/tracking.
5. Other duties as assigned.
Skills/Knowledge/Qualifications needed:
Customer-service oriented.
Strong communications and negotiation skills.
Well organized with outstanding follow-through skills.
Three years equivalent experience.
Pharmacy Technician license preferred.
Retail pharmacy experience a plus
