INSIDE SALES REPRESENTATIVE - STRATEGIC DISTRIBUTION
Bivar, Inc. is currently seeking an INSIDE SALES REPRESENTATIVE-STRATEGIC DISTRIBUTION with strong communication and internal/external customer interfacing skills. The Inside Sales Representative-Strategic Distribution works strategically with targeted Multi-national sales channel partners to cultivate a strong opportunity pipeline of new customers to meet annual sales goals through a well-designed sales plan.
The INSIDE SALES REPRESENTATIVE - STRATEGIC DISTRIBUTION is accountable for the following responsibilities:
- Meet and exceed assigned distributor business plan revenue goals.
- Work closely with Global Distributors and their Corporate Product Managers and Sales Managers.
- Consistently implement sales plan to expand revenue generation on a Global level.
- Coordination of OEM Account and Distributor support.
- Occasional travel to Distributor Sales Locations.
- Work with Global Supply Channel Partners to develop proper inventory levels and competitive pricing.
- Proactively work to fully qualify and drive business to closure.
- Fully utilize CRM to track assigned distributor accounts, contacts, and selling activities.
- Administration of Distributor Information Systems including Electronics Data Interface (EDI) as required.
- Create Targeted Product Introduction Programs.
- Cross Reference Request.
- Foster a positive, professional working relationship with distributor contacts.
Job requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business or marketing preferred.
- Two-four years’ corporate experience in an inside sales/customer service role in an Electronics Distribution Sales Organization.
- Strong oral and written skills with ability to speak clearly and effectively with customers.
- Research, Analytical and Research Building skills.
- Proven abilities to effectively use Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) programs and CRM Software.
- Professional work habits and communication style. Self-starter who can efficiently multi-task while keeping focused; Accuracy, dependability and ability to prioritize work requirements.
- Willingness to travel approximately 30% of the time when requested by National Distribution Manager.
