Heska Corporation is excited to announce an opening for an Inside Sales Representative. The Inside Sales Representative (ISR) is responsible for managing, growing, and servicing assigned accounts within a specific geography. This position requires a goal-oriented telesales professional with strong relationship building and closing skills to generate new business and maintain existing accounts. The ISR will work closely with the outside territory manager to be strategic, competitive and knowledgeable about all accounts Heska products and competitive products within the Veterinary industry.
Essential Duties
- Achieve and exceed revenue goals.
- Strategically manage existing and new customers.
- Contribute to overall company revenue goal and remain team oriented by fielding inbound calls and initiating cross selling outside of related territory.
- Able to generate leads via consultative selling.
- Forecast new and existing business.
- Communicate daily with territory manager to remain cohesive, capitalize on selling opportunities and leverage partnership.
- Provide superior customer service and remain solutions driven with all customers and/or customer concerns.
- Enter orders correctly into the company order management system.
- Effectively uses multiple software systems to service accounts.
- Manage relationships and other partnerships.
Experience/Education Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 1-2 years telesales experience required.
- Experience in Word and Excel preferred.

- Able to be solutions driven and positive team player.
- Responds promptly to customer needs, solicits feedback to improve service.
- Demonstrates effective communication, organization and multi-tasking skills.
- Excellent telephone selling skills, experience with closing sales and overcoming customer objections.
- Comfortable meeting and exceeding monthly expectations and goals.
- Must be competent handling objections.
This position is base plus commission.
