Come see what you can achieve as a leader with GE Oil G Posted Position Title: Inspector 0Z4 Career Level: Experienced Function Manufacturing Function Segment: Shop Operations Location: United States U.S. State, China or Canada Provinces: Texas City: Houston Postal Code: 77095-3109 Relocation Assistance No Essential Responsibilities Physically receive equipment complete appropriate paper and computer acknowledgments - Conduct dimensional inspection, hardness test as per the drawings related specifications as per the Quality Plan and prepare necessary quality records - Stamping of inspected components after verification of traceability information record inspection results - Review supplier's documents to confirm it meet quality requirements - Identify non-conforming parts feedback any quality problems to QC Supervisor. Isolate non-conforming parts prepare NCR document - Move the received goods to the respective departments or raw material storage area - All other duties as required to complete tasks in Shop. - Comply with all applicable health, safety and environmental regulations. Qualifications/Requirements: High School diploma or GED. * Minimum 3 years experience in welding, machining, manufacturing, quality control, quality engineering, manufacturing engineering, or test and assembly. * Current forklift operator license or ability to obtain license. Desired Characteristics The ability to perform detailed dimensional inspection of component parts - Inspection/Shipping/Receiving/ Experience in manufacturing facility - Oilfield equipment exposure - Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with others - Experience with Excel, Word, Oracle
