Job Description AECOM is seeking professionals to perform inspection in a wide variety of structures construction. The services shall be provided in support of construction projects located within Los Angeles, Ventura and Orange countys. . Duties: Typical duties performed will include, but not be limited to the following: * Ensure that materials incorporated into the work by the Contractor are in compliance with contract documents. * Verify construction (including field dimensions) is in accordance with contract documents (plan and specifications) using field engineering and surveying equipment. * Ensure compliance with applicable safety regulations. * Sampling and performing field tests for quality assurance in accordance with California Test Methods (CTMs) and/or American Society for Testing Materials (ASTM) procedures. * Generate and file necessary documents pertaining to construction progress including daily reports, monthly pay estimates and job expenditures. * Assist in preparation of final as-built plans and reports. * Ability to work independently Qualifications: * NICET Level II, other construction inspection certifications or equivalent years experience. * Knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel and basic computer skills. * Excellent communication and writing skills. * Ability and willingness to work night shifts as required. * Knowledge of Caltrans or other DOT specifications and manuals preferred What We Offer AECOM employees around the world enjoy a wide range of benefits and competitive compensation package.
