About the Job
POSITION SUMMARY: Will install: electronic components, cable pathway systems including various low voltage cable, firestop systems, placement, termination, testing, labeling documentation. Will also: perform surveys, assist in designing, troubleshoot maintain: Access Control, CCTV, Security and Fire Alarm Systems and Telecom Systems. Will possess leadership skills will be responsible for ensuring continuity on projects, overseeing all documentation customer interface activity, enforcing all company policies safety requirements.
Preferred experience:
1. Security systems
2. Fire detection systems
3. Access Control systems
4. CCTV (Closed Circuit Television)
5. Electronics experience
6. Equivalent Military experience
7. Structured Cabling
8. Switches, Routers, and IT hardware
• 7+ years’ experience installing or servicing at least 4 of the following skill sets:
• A valid drivers license
• Graduated High School or have a G.E.D.
• Vocational/Technical/Business School strongly preferred.
• Completed Nicet Certification level 3 in Video or Fire
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, AFL Vendor Specific Software.
• Ability to pass applicable state federal background checks in order to become a registered security installer.
