Job Description:
Are you a experienced Project Manager? Do you have a background in engineering?
A great communication software company located in the bay area is looking to hire a seasoned, professional project manager to lead a team of software developers and hardware engineers.
You must have a background with both software and hardware engineering. You will be expected to do some hands on work with both.
Some of the day to day responsibilities would include:
Commissioning and customizing of software and hardware across the entire product range.
Creation and enhancement of tools for use in installation and testing.
Review and scheduling of order work for the entire Manufacturing team.
Enhancement of quality assurance and manufacturing processes, with a focus on Lean Manufacturing.
Work closely with the administrative and staging teams within Operations.
Work closely with the internal and field support teams.
The IE Manager will also be expected to
perform all day to day aspects of managing the IE team engineers
recruit, train, develop and appraise individuals as the team continues to grow
plan, coordinate and execute work on new releases with the Development and Support teams
manage projects up to several months in size and deliver them to deadlines and within budget
help define the strategic direction of the Manufacturing team.
