Installation Technicians
Our client, one of Canada's fastest growing Cable and Communications companies owned and operated out of the Maritimes, is currently looking to expand their team. Our client is a leader in the industry, priding themselves on their reputation for superior customer service.
This is a permanent, full time position based out of Dartmouth, NS. As a member of the installation team, you must be a customer-focused team player and posse a technical aptitude for the installation, maintenance, repair and service of cable systems.
Main Duties:
Reporting to the Supervisor, the Technician's primary responsibility is the installation and service of cable television, high speed internet, and telephone products in residential locations.
Other Duties and Responsibilities:
*Installation of interior and exterior coax outlets and lines in the residence.
*Installation of cable, telephone, and high speed internet equipment.
*Upgrades and disconnects of cable, internet and television products.
*Ladder usage (25-30 feet).
*Heavy Lifting over 60+lbs
*Troubleshooting of cable, internet and telephone products.
*Driving to and from scheduled appointments.
*Time reporting.
*Maintaining assigned vehicle and tools.
*Maintaining stock requirement in vehicle for all job situations.
*Working approximately 40+ hours per week.
Education and Experience:
*Completion of grade 12.
*Electronics course work considered an asset.
Required Skills:
*Ability to prioritize work orders.
*Ability to work independently.
*Customer service skills.
Additional Information:
*Maintain a valid driver's license with a clean drivers abstract
*Ability to work in adverse weather in all seasons
*Willingness to work evenings and weekends based on project requirements
*Comfortable working with heights.
