Installation Technicians/Systems Integrator
Must be knowledgeable in alarm installations (burg fire), experience in card access and CCTV is a plus. The ideal candidate must hold a current Massachusetts System Technician (D) or Journeyman (B) License. Rhode Island System Technician License is a plus.
Job Purpose:
Establishes security/fire alarm service by installing security/fire alarm systems and equipment; verifying system performance and maintaining records.
Duties:
Prepares for security/fire alarm installations by reviewing installation orders; gathering equipment, supplies, and tools; working with schedulers to coordinate schedules with customers.
Establishes security/fire alarm system by installing equipment; running and pulling wiring; programming and calibrating equipment; adhering to codes, regulations, and standards.
Verifies security/fire alarm system functioning by testing equipment, connections, and signals; identifying and correcting problems.
Maintains accurate records by documenting installation
Maintains customer rapport by resolving concerns; answers questions
Maintains at all times a safe and secure work environment by following safe practices; keeps security information confidential
Keep supplies ready by inventorying stock and verifying receipt
Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities
Accomplishes organizational goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different request; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments
Position requires a valid driver's license.
