Institutional Business Development Analyst recruitment
Leading asset manager seeks a Senior Institutional Business Development Executive to work in the London team. You will lead a small team focused on the institutional market, and you will be sitting with and interacting daily with the institutional sales team. This role is an excellent opportunity for an institutional RFP writer to move to a more senior and broader position.
The key responsibilities of this role are to support the institutional sales team which focuses on solutions for defined benefit pension schemes, local authorities, charities and insurance companies. You will support the team in bringing in new clients and providing support to consultants.
This will include:
- Creating tailored and high quality responses to RFPs
- Developing sales and investment research presentations
- Responding to ad hoc requests for information
- Providing investment support to the sales team
- Building relationships with key consultant contacts
You will be responsible for management of the institutional support team and its workflow. In order to achieve this you will sit with and work closely with the institutional sales team, and interact with fund managers, marketing, product management, wholesale support team and others across the business.
Experience:
- 2-5 years' experience of writing institutional RFPs for an asset management firm
- Strong understanding of fixed income, equity, property and cash investments and have the ability to communicate that knowledge to target clients
- Understanding of institutional client and consultant needs
- Confident and self-starting with the ability to prioritise effectively
- Excellent communication skills
