Institutional Business Development Manager

Our Client is managing a core number of products which it believes can attract significant assets from overseas pension funds. The objective of this role is to result in significant growth in the assets under management through the award of institutional mandates internationally.

 

Key Responsibilities:

·         To promote and market Our Client's products to institutional investment consultants overseas;

·         To establish and maintain key distribution relationships with these investment consultants;

·         To communicate effectively with consultants, pension fund investors and research agencies;

·         The design, development and production of marketing material for target customers;

·         Take responsibility for due diligence questionnaires and “Request for Proposals” (RFPs).

 

Key Requirements:

·         A positive dynamic thinker who believes it is possible and wants to make Our Client a clear winner in the global asset management marketplace;

·         Demonstration of a  successful track record in business development that has led to strong growth in assets from the institutional marketplace (particularly overseas);

·         Demonstrable knowledge of financial markets and investments;

·         Demonstrated ability to establish and develop excellent relationships with trustees, advisors and pension consultants;

·         Excellent knowledge of the regulatory framework;

·         Proven ability to contribute at a strategic level within the business;

·         Excellent communication skills.

·         Good negotiating skills.
