Institutional Business Manager

Our client is a leading global asset manager. Their institutional arm is seeking a Business Manager. This is a broad role and key responsibilities include; representing the head of the institutional business with key stakeholders and shared services, strategic analysis, managing business cases and business plans, new office/market research, competitor intelligence, helping to write annual regional business plans, managing projects for the head of the institutional business and leading a small team. The successful candidate will possess outstanding written, relationship building and project management skills, the ability to influence and negotiate with senior stakeholders and deliver to tight deadlines in a pressurised environment, strong analytical skills and the ability to work effectively in a global matrix structure. Knowledge of the institutional asset management industry is essential. Experience gained in management accounting would be useful.
