The Company
A very exciting opportunity has arisen for a multi-national investment bank who is urgently looking for a Institutional Cash / Payments management VP / Director, initially on a 6 months contract to permanent basis.
The Role
As a VP/Director, you will engage in the following:
- Covering the APAC region including China, Hong Kong, Singapore and Japan you will report into the New York office, partnering the Europe team
- Utilising your cash management on institutional clients you will develop a business case for recommendation to the New York office of foreign currency product, clearing (Yen, RMB etc) and system development
- Requirements gather of cash system and currency products
- You will be supported by the New York project team and will therefore will assist in Project manager
- Complete the detailed business requirements that can be presented to internal and external resources leading to construction of the system
- Work with internal legal resources and external regulatory authorities to identify the necessary approvals for implementing the system in the various countries.
- Develop an implementation plan to build out the infrastructure and operations to meet the lines of business/customer needs.
Your Profile
To qualify as a VP/Director for this role, you have:
- At least 10 years of solid instituational cash/payment/currency/treasury experience
- Strong understanding of the payments business across the region and how that business interacts with other lines of business.
- PMP or Prince2 qualified or related qualification (preferred but not mandatory)
- Fluent English and Mandarin is mandatory
- RMB product knowledge is preferred
- Bachelor degree or above
- Must be flexible and willing to travel to Shanghai on a regular basis
- Immediately available is highly preferred and will be considered first
