Institutional Client Services Asset Management recruitment
This is an opportunity to play an important role working to strengthen key relationships with institutional clients and their investment consultants. The chosen individual will be assigned institutional client relationships to manage, including cross-border relationships introduced through the firms global distribution network. The role-holder will be expected to develop and retain assets under management and identify opportunities for cross selling where appropriate to client requirements.
Main responsibilities
• To act as the client relationship manager and primary contact for institutional clients domiciled in the UK and Irish markets
• To prepare for and attend portfolio review meetings to update clients with regard to their portfolios, working closely with investment teams and product specialists as required
• To act as the client relationship manager for institutional clients domiciled internationally who are invested in London managed products and be the primary contact for colleagues who service these clients locally
• To review and sign-off client investment reports for all assigned clients, working closely with the client administration team to ensure the accuracy and timely delivery of all client reporting requirements
• To be responsible for ensuring all client requests are responded to in an accurate and timely fashion, liaising as necessary with internal teams/departments (investment, operations, administration, finance, legal, compliance)
• To be responsible for ensuring CRM system is updated promptly with client contact and meeting notes
• To assume overall responsibility for the succesful transition/on-boarding of new client relationships as required.
• From time to time to attend institutional off-sites, client and corporate events in order to assist in the institutional business development and client service process
EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS:
• BSc Honours degree: 2:1 preferable
• IMC essential.
WORK EXPERIENCE:
• Significant relevant client facing asset management experience within an institutional client servicing role or investment consultancy environment. Significant experience of attending external client and consultant meetings essential.
OTHER KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS, E.G. MANAGEMENT, TECHNICAL ETC:
• Excellent communication skills
