Institutional Marketing Professional – United States recruitment
JOB DESCRIPTION
The Institutional Marketing Professional will be key to growing our distribution efforts in the U.S., and will focus on selling high yield bond, bank loan, and private debt strategies. The Institutional Marketing Professional will develop relationships with U.S. pension funds, insurance companies, family offices, and private banks, providing in-depth discussion of the performance, portfolio positioning, investment process, and market outlook of our capital markets strategies. The role will include working with our portfolio management, product development, and client service team members to develop and promote new products as well as tailor our services to individual clients.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
The ideal candidate will have at least three to five years institutional marketing experience in the investment management industry. Prior fixed income sales experienced preferred. Must have developed book of business. Strong verbal and written communications skills are a must. Must have:
- Deep and broad knowledge of U.S. fixed income capital markets including high yield bonds, bank loans, and private debt investment strategies
- Existing senior level institutional relationships and proven asset raising track record in the Insurance, Corporate, and Public Plan verticals in the United States
- Successful achievement of fund raising over the last 36 months from an institutional client base
- BS required, MBA or CFA preferred
LOCATION
Los Angeles or New York. The role is likely to involve significant travel.
