Institutional Marketing Relationship Specialist
Our client, a preeminent asset management firm, is seeking to bolster its institutional distribution team. The firm is historically known for their retail product offering, but has seen some large institutional mandates come in. As such, they have a requirement for a Marketing Relationship Specialist to play an integral part in acquisition and retention of future client wins. The role itself is unique and includes both operational and externally-facing elements.
Responsibilities include:
- Supervising the RFP process
- Signing off marketing materials ensuring that language and style are compliant and tailored to an institutional audience.
- Liaising with the Product Development team to ensure that product offering is feasible and relevant to current demands of institutional investors.
- Overseeing DDQ process once the onboarding process begins.
- Coordinating across Product and Investment teams to respond appropriately to client queries and issues.
- Prepare reporting and performance materials as requested by clients.
- On occasion attend client review meetings.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in the Asset Management industry, ideally in a wide-ranging role which has required coordination between a number of departments.
- Strong understanding of operational dimensions of client onboarding and relationship management (i.e. reporting, DDQs, client services).
- Ability to network internally and present to internal stakeholders.
- Experience working in a fairly autonomous role desirable.
- IMC qualification is also desirable.
