Institutional Marketing/Sales Executive recruitment
The position requires someone who is highly motivated by compensation tied directly to production, who demonstrates leadership qualities and a willingness to contribute to the firm's development and evolution. This role is responsible for opening institutional accounts through networking/leveraging existing relationships.
Responsibilities include:
• Develop institutional prospect / client list.
• Represent the firm in client meetings and new business presentations.
• Build effective working relationships with other departments, especially the Portfolio Management and Operations teams.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Proven success in increasing assets under management.
• At least 10 years experience marketing Fixed Income products to U.S. institutional investors and consultants.
• Long-term, established relationships with institutional investors such as corporate treasurers, pension funds (corporate, governmental and Taft Hartley), endowments, foundations, insurers and banks.
• Ability to understand and communicate a complex investment strategy to institutional investors in a clear and compelling way.
Bachelor's degree required. MBA and/or CFA a plus.
