Institutional Portfolio Investment Coordinator
Reporting to the Executive Chairman of the Emerging Markets group, the Institutional Portfolio Manager (IPM) is responsible for communicating the investment team’s philosophy, process and current strategy to institutional clients. As a member of the investment team, the IPM will meet with clients, prospects and/or intermediaries.
The IPM will be a principal conduit to provide perspective and understanding regarding emerging market oriented products to a broad range of internal and external constituencies.
Essential duties and responsibilities include:
- Act as a spokesperson for team’s investment philosophy, process and strategy in support of winning new portfolio mandates and retaining existing ones.
- Ability to travel extensity in the U.S. and Europe
- Meet with external key decision makers at clients to provide periodic portfolio reviews and updates.
Ideal candidates will have:
- Extensive equity fund management experience. Some experience as a Research Analyst or Portfolio Manager.
- MBA, CFA or advanced degree in related field.
- Ability to verbally and orally articulate all facets of the investment process and strategy on behalf of investment team
- Familiarity with portfolio analytical tools
- Multiple-lingual ability.
