Overview
Responsible for develiping and maintaining institutional relationships with the firm's clients in Hong Kong. Key responsibilities include:
Responsibilities
- Day to day responsibility for the relationship management of existing institutional clients (e.g., pension plan sponsors, family offices, endowments, foundations, official institutions, etc.) in Hong Kong
- Manage clients' queries on portfolio related matters. Follow through on issues with operations teams and other functional teams and continually seek improvement opportunities
- Develop strong internal relationships with portfolio managers, product specialists and other teams globally to enhance delivery of our services to clients
- Identify and share relevant market intelligence with clients, pinpointing the potential impact on the client's portfolio
- Proactively solicit feedback from clients and coordinate with senior Sales staff on the development of client strategy
- Coordinate client portfolio reviews or ad-hoc conference calls with clients and investment teams
- Regularly monitor portfolio performance and identify at risk mandates; propose defense strategy to Team Leader
- Maintain and update client information in CRM system
Skills/ Experience
- At least 3 years experience in financial services, asset management industry experience preferred
- BA/BS degree in related field (Economics, Finance or Accounting)
- Self-motivated individual, with the ability to take ownership to ensure outcomes are achieved
- Broad securities industry knowledge; commitment to gaining relevant knowledge, skills and experience
- Track record of building strong working partnerships and effectively managing client expectations; can leverage market knowledge to create client solutions and accurately assess client needs
- Strong execution skills and continuous improvement mindset
- Ability to prioritize and delegate effectively
