Institutional Research Sales VP recruitment

The  primary responsibility of the individual will be to communicate investment recommendations made in research reports to buy-side money managers for the purpose of growing and retaining account relationships.  The client base consists of roughly  150 buy-side investment managers.  We are  seeking an articulate individual with the ability to distill 15 to 30  page, company-specific equity research reports into compelling dialogue with a hedge fund/mutual fund manager.  Published research reports covers a range of investment styles including small cap equities, international equities, short selling, and restructurings (primarily spin-offs).  A basic understanding of equity valuation techniques and a strong interest in the financial markets is required.
 

Our client is looking for five years plus Institutional Research Sales experience with a major firm. Will also consider Research Anlaysts looking to move into Sales.
