Institutional RFP Manager recruitment
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage a team of 11 marketing associates in preparing due diligence packages (questionnaires, proposals, references, etc.), answering and editing RFP’s and RFI’s, answering ad hoc requests, and updating and maintaining the RFP and consultant databases
- Train RFP Writers and set performance standards for the group
- Manage relationships with functional areas across the company including portfolio management, portfolio analysis, reporting and marketing
- Manage the storage and updating of RFP and due diligence information
- Identify and execute on opportunities to build efficiencies through process and technological improvements and tasks
- Manage and track the RFP pipeline
Background Requirements:
- At least 7 years of experience answering and editing RFP’s within the asset management industry
- At least 4 years of experience managing a team
- Strong knowledge of institutional investor asset management with an understanding of alternative asset management strategies
- Ability to work on multiple projects while adhering to strict deadlines and producing quality work
- Experience managing AUM reporting/analytics is a plus
- Demonstrated leadership, management, training and mentoring skills
- BA/BS required
- MBA a plus
